Plane Pull isn’t just a fun time on the tarmac; it’s also a chance to support year-round training and competition for real-life heroes, like Lukas.

Lukas contracted E. coli poisoning at age four and suffered total kidney failure. However, he defied the odds by recovering 50% of his kidney functions. He’s looking forward to trying new Special Olympics sports like basketball and swimming.

One of Lukas' favorite quotes is: "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” And to us, that makes him our true Man of Steel.
